Know More, No More

I don’t care how many books you have read (I can suggest a couple, if you like) or how much business experience you have – there is always more to learn. In fact, constant learning is the entrepreneurial mandate.

But there comes a point when knowing more becomes overwhelming or all consuming or both. The more things you do, the many more things you must know to be capable. Alternatively, the more you focus on one thing, the more you can devote you learning to achieve mastery.

Capability doesn’t make money, or at least not much. Mastery does. And mastery comes about by knowing that one thing you do better than anyone else. To get there, you must be void of distractions. To get there, you need to say no more.
