Our Guest

Betsie Bolger (known in the eBay community as eBetsy) is a Top Rated Seller on eBay as well as Creative Director for Voicemarketing, Inc., producers of eBay Radio for eBay Inc. She was an eBay Education Specialist until that program was retired on June 30, 2016, and is also a Top 100 eBay Reviewer. Betsie is a serial entrepreneur, having worked for many years as a freelance journalist while owning and operating Dark Horse Enterprises, where she trained horses and riders to local, state, national and world championships throughout the 1980s and early 1990s.

After retiring from the horse world in favor of spending time with her second husband, whose HIV+ status made the future uncertain, Betsie discovered eBay first as a buyer, then recognized an opportunity that would allow her and her husband to build a business together while working from home, yet remain flexible enough to allow for health challenges. Since then, eBay has become not just an entrepreneurial ecommerce enterprise for Betsie and her husband, but virtually a way of life.
