I shouldn’t be writing this blog post right now.  I should be taking actions that will result in immediate and recurring revenue.

The last two months have been devastatingly quiet.  My revenue for November and December have been the worst in what feels like years.  I am digging into savings and  “borrowing” from cash I had reserved for year end taxes.  Not a good move. Fear has me in a stranglehold.

It is a strange phenomena that I suspect many entrepreneurs face.  When we need to take action most, we freeze up. When we need to hit the road harder than ever, we find reasons not to drive.  When we need to have the most faith we have the least.

When we are frozen by fear, there are solutions and steps to take.  But that is not my goal for this post.  In fact, I have already achieved my goal – sharing my fear publicly.  

You see the best way to defeat fear is to let it out.  If we deny its existence… If we don’t tell others… the fear stays trapped. It eats at us. It builds stronger.  Yet, when we let it out, the gripping power of fear loses its hold.  We are released, even if its just in the smallest way, to take the next step.

Share your fears. Don’t let them stay trapped inside you – they will overtake every space of your soul.  Let them out. Let them go free, so you can be.
