  1. Sorry to say but I did not enjoy or benefit from this podcast one iota.

    Why?

Too much false bonhomie and jejune humor + too many guest interruptions by the hosts, not to mention irrelevapodcast nt information about real estate!

Obvious pablum complete waste of time.

Now having lit the fuse I will say that this type of banter filled podcast is very popular with the millennial crowd. To improve your opening check out Fizzle.

After I heard the words ‘theres a lot of Chrises in this country’ I give up.

    1. Thanks so much for the honest feedback Harold! I think you should avoid my books too… same style.

I love to joke around and have fun (my definition of fun), and appreciate that the real me is NOT going to connect with many folks. But at the same time, I would become sick of myself if I tried to fake who I am.

The community you seek is surely out there, and I am sorry I can’t be part of it. Wishing you MASSIVE success in all you do!

  2. Hi Mike,

Great podcast 1 of 1! I laughed a lot and learned a lot. Most of us come to entrepreneurship as a “reinvention” of ourselves, and if we are growth-oriented individuals, we are continually reinventing ourselves. Dorie’s story got me reflecting on my own learning from my previous “reinventions” and what I can apply moving forward in this next phase of my life. Finding ways to stay profitable through these reinventions takes the anxiety out for sure.

Keep the podcasts and the quirky humor coming! I like the “secret word” idea. Skidmark–yep, that sounds like something you came up with. LOL!

    Cheers!

  3. Hi Mike and Chris,

Mike, I’ve been following you since you were on the EOFire podcast. Loved the Pumpkin Plan and will be reading Profit First.

Enjoyed both the interview and your style. I tire of podcasts that believe because they blocked out an hour of their time that I should also. I believe if you can’t get it across in thirty, you’re being lazy.

Keep up the good work! Heading over to iTunes to subscribe now.

    Jeff

  4. Just one problem with this podcast… you can’t multi-task while listening! Poingnant one-liners mixed with rapid-fire shenanigans that kept me laughing out loud meant there were no brainwaves left for anything else useful. LOVED IT! More please. This could get addicting

    1. Gabrielle – Thanks so much for this kind feedback. I am so happy you loved it. I do plan to make you addicted to it, then I can use my mind-meld to make you get a tattoo of The Profit First Podcast. That’s my end goal for all listeners.
