The Difference Between A Hobby And A Passion

A hobby is like a meal. It satisfies a hunger pang. But you can only eat so much before you get sick. A hobby brings satisfaction and pleasure, but it fades after an hour, or after a day, or after a few weeks. Only when you become hungry again, do you enjoy your hobby.

A hobby drains energy over time.

A passion is like an ocean. It is immense, and awe inspiring, and relentless and soothing, all wrapped up into one. When you swim in your passion, you start to discover its enormity and it depth. It is all encompassing. It feeds you energy. The more you live your passion, the more your passion grows.

A passion builds energy over time.

Enjoy your hobbies, but live your passion.
